WITH the new season almost upon us, it's time to cast an eye upon the teams in League Two for 2006-2007. Richard Hubbert turns his attention to our own Grimsby.

Key PlayerMichael Reddy. Selected in the PFA League Two team of the season last term, Reddy will hope to enjoy another good season at Blundell Park. If he can stay fit and continue to cause problems for defenders, then Town's chances of success will be vastly increased.
StrengthsWhen all fit, Town have a formidable strike trio of Reddy, Jones and Rankin. If they can be provided with good service, goals should not be a problem for the Mariners this season.
WeaknessesThere are question marks over the Town defence, especially when they come up against any pace. Furthermore, whether Toner and Harkins can make the step up to fill the void left by Woodhouse and Kalala, remains to be seen.
Prediction7th. Possibly using my heart over my head, but providing Town can sort out their problems at the back and get the best out of Reddy, Rankin and Jones, the Play- Offs should be attainable.

Next Team: Hartlepool
