WITH the new season almost upon us, it's time to cast an eye upon the teams in League Two for 2006-2007. Richard Hubbert turns his attention to Wrexham.

Key PlayerChris Llewellyn. The return of the tricky Welsh forward could prove to be an excellent signing for Denis Smith. Llewellyn, who can also play in midfield, was influential with Wrexham when they were in League One. If he can put his miserable spell at Hartlepool behind him and carry off where he left off at the Racecourse, the Dragons could have a fine year.
StrengthsWrexham like to play football the right way and have some handy players. Neil Roberts will hope to recapture the form that saw him rise to prominence with Wigan, while Darren Ferguson is one of the finest central midfielders in the League.
WeaknessesWrexham's lack of cash has meant that they have been limited in the transfer market and will once again be forced to rely on loan players to bolster their ranks. A lack of firepower could mean that promotion will remain a dream.
Prediction15th. Another season in midtable for the men from Wales, unless someone can stump up some cash and back Denis Smith, who has done such a terrific job on a shoestring.

Next Team: Wycombe
