The 'Fishy' Appeal
By: Tony Hamilton
Date: 16/02/2005
THE Fishy's part of the "Keep the Mariners Afloat" campaign is now underway. By agreement with the trust, we have appealed to all the English football clubs to assist Grimsby Town in their hour of need by donating a piece of memorabilia or a product that can be auctioned on E-Bay.
We would like now to invite all our readers and subscribers to join the Fishy appeal. If you have a piece of football memorabilia (not necessarily relating to Grimsby Town) or a shirt or something of interest that we can auction on E-Bay we would welcome your involvement.
All items donated will be auctioned on E-Bay by the trust with ALL funds going towards the fighting fund.
Please send any items you are willing to donate to:
Grimsby Town Supporters Trust
P.O.Box 421
Cleethorpes
N.E.Lincs

Please mark your parcel 'The Fishy Auction'.
We are currently receiving items from football clubs and anything that will add to the appeal will be most welcome.
Grimsby Town Supporters Trust are receiving all the articles and we will be conducting the auction on the trusts E-Bay account to ensure all monies etc go directly to the trust.
So time to clear the cupboards out folks. You just might have a little gem that will help the 'Keep The Mariners Afloat' campaign.
The Fishy believes the ban on Radio Humberside is not in the best interest of Grimsby Town Football Club and its supporters. If you agree with that view, please sign the petition. Click HERE to sign
