Grimsby Town 1 Stockport County 3
By: Bill Osborne
Date: 02/09/2005
A disappointing result for most of the 5,381 souls at Blundell Park today when Town went down 3-1 after taking the lead with a goal from Gary Jones.
In the second half, Stockport grabbed an equaliser from an own goal by Whittle, after which, Town seemed to lose their width and their hopes.
Goal scorers:
33 minutes Jones 1-0
56 minutes Whittle1-1 (og)
75 minutes Hamshaw1-2
79 minutes Wolski1-3
