Boston Midfielder Joins The Mariners

BOSTON United midfielder, Jamie Clarke, has signed a one year deal with Grimsby Town. Clarke joined the Pilgrims on a free transfer from Rochdale on an 18-month contract in January 2006.
Although a midfielder he is also capable of playing as a left or right back.
He originally signed on a one year deal with Boston but they extended that after some impressive performances.
He is reported to be a versatile player and is noted for his good passing game and it is probably that which has prompted Alan Buckley to sign him.
