Tony's Verdict: The "puppy" snaps around the ankles of big centre backs and generally acts like a right pest. Has a tendency to run round in circles and rarely passes. A good substitute. A 3 month loan at Northampton in 1999 saw him return much improved, but he relapsed into puppydom very quickly. Has a quick temper, which is allegedly the reason for his exile to the Sixfields - one of those infamous "Training Ground Incidents" so beloved of tabloids and pub gossips. Irish u-21 international and a perennial "One for the future". But the future is here already!
