In the late 80's, Sheffield Wednesday, centre back Ian Knight was tipped for an England career. Sadly a sickening challenge by Gary Bennett ended those dreams. Knight moved to Town in Division 4. Knight still showed his class and was a real threat from set pieces.
Injury trouble meant that Knight had to retire but became football in the community officer and is currently Director of Youth.
