Is football a business or a sport?

Steve Livingstone May Miss Rest Of Season

By: Bill Osborne

STEVE LIVINGSTONE's return has been put on hold and he may not be appearing again until next season. After a scan the specialists have confirmed he needs an operation on his calf and he will be having the operation next week in Manchester.

Livvo has been suffering with a problem with the blood supply to his calf and it now appears it can only be resolved by surgery.

Apparently it is rare for this type of surgery to be performed in the UK so it is hoped that it will be successful. After the operation there will be a recovery period for two weeks with rehabilitation and fitness training following.

The prediction is that he will not be fit again until March or April next year and we might have seen the last of him this season. This is a major disappointment as Livvo has been sorely missed this season.
