WEST HAM midfielder Grant McCann has arrived at on trial at Blundell Park, as Paul Groves takes a look at the 22-year-old Northern Ireland international, whose career has been haltered after suffering a serious knee injury during an international against Liechtenstein in March.
McCann has made just four substitute appearances for the Hammers, his only full time club, but the Belfast-born midfielder has had lengthy loan spells at Notts County, Cheltenham and Scottish side Livingston.
"We are going to have a good look at him", Paul Groves told Mariners Net: "he's a talented left sided player and he will be at the club for two days. He spent most of last season out on loan."
