A report commissioned by the first division of the Football league by accountancy firm KPMG has recommended that the First Division should have more say in league matters, be allowed to run itself and control its own commercial affairs.
The report says that the first division should have its own chief executive with second and third divisions to share one CEO.
In league matters the first division should have 75% of the vote as they bring in 75% of the income to the league.
The report also says that none of the first division clubs want to leave the league but they do want more say in running the show.
League chairmen are to meet soon to discuss the report, its findings and recommendations.
