Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

The Fishyio: 30-Aug

By: The Fishyio

I SUPPOSE you have to look at the positives when you are a Town fan. For example, we have played 5 games and kept 2 clean sheets. We have got Kabba who looks very exciting.

Oh yeah, and we play Millwall tomorrow who are actually lower than us in the table, have only scored one more goal than us and have actually conceded 4 more. So all the facts suggest a 0-0 draw. Should be entertaining then.

Anyway the people who are suffering at the hands of injuries are:_

  • Simon Ford - the youngster has a dead leg but should be fit for the game. Best wake that leg up Simon!

  • John McDermott - The veteran (in every sense of the word) has injuries all over the place. His back, ankle and knee all are injured. But being the committed player he is, Macca will be on the pitch come 3pm on Saturday.

  • Alan Pouton - the hard-working midfielder has been out of action for a couple of weeks but may be back for the Millwall game. Thank God.

  • Robert Taylor - How long will he be at the club? Who knows? The big man has a calf injury and will definitely miss the Millwall game.

    Prediction:- Heres a clue..... YAWN
