Barnard Out For 6 Weeks!

DARREB Barnard has been ruled out for six weeks presenting a further injury crisis for Paul Groves who is desperately seeking to find replacements for his battered squad.
The Grimsby Telegraph report states that Barnard had an MRI scan at the Wales training camp in Cardiff yesterday that revealed his shoulder injury was far worse than first thought. He has torn the muscle from the bone and now faces a race against time to play again this season.
The loss of Stacy Coldicott, Alan Pouton, Michael Boulding and now Darren Barnard is a problem and it is looking unlikely that John Oster's return to Blundell Park will happen.
"It leaves us in the mire. We are lucky that it's happened this week and that we can try and get someone in," said Groves.
