THE Grimsby Town board have drawn up a shortlist for the vacant manager's position after meeting yesterday to "review the situation".
They are keen to get a new manager as soon as possible so that team planning for next season can go ahead. The Grimsby Telegraph reported today that have also interviewed short-term boss Nicky Law about his time in charge at the end of the 2003-4 season.
Chairman Peter Furneaux declined to tell the Telegraph whether Law was on the shortlist though confirmed that he was interested in the job.
Furneaux said: "The board identified some people we would like to talk to. We must have someone who is fully committed to Grimsby."
He did not rule out new names being added to the list. "It is not closed to new people coming in."
