Carling Cup Draw

THE Carling Cup draw will be announced at 9:15 am on Thursday July 8. Grimsby Town are in the Northern section and are amongst the non-seeds, based on the 2003/04 league placings. Town will be hoping for a lucrative draw against one of the bigger clubs: Leeds, Wolves, or Sunderland.

Last season at the corresponding stage Grimsby were humiliated by Doncaster, although the refereee had a huge hand in matters, sending two Town players off in the game at Belle Vue.   Report
