Rambo Injury Blow

TOWN defender Simon Ramsden is facing up to four months out injured following the news that a troublesome bank injury requires surgery. The former Sunderland defender is unlikely to return to action until next year and will join Tony Crane, Rob Jones and Glen Downey in the stands.
Town boss Russell Slade told the Grimsby Telegraph: "It's a massive blow for Rambo. He has been struggling and we needed to get his back looked at. The doctors have indicated that he will need surgery and could be out four three-to-four months.
"With Craney, Jonesy and Glen Downey already out - it is something we could have well done without."
Forced changes to the defence is something that Paul Groves struggled with last season, with Town being forced to play a different back four in consecutive games for long spells of the campaign.
