FORMER QPR striker Richard Pacquette has arrived at Blundell Park for a trial. The 22-year-old had been linked with Grimsby recently, but decided to join Stevenage Borough on a short-term contract instead. He has now returned for a trial, despite being still on the books of the Conference club.
Pacquette had originally been due to arrive at the club at the same time as former Cambridge midfielder Kingsley Mbome, who came to Blundell Park on trial in late January. The former U-21 Cameroon international is understood to still be training at Grimsby, but has not yet been offered a contract with Town.
