TICKET sales were was quieter yesterday (Sunday) than originally thought they would be but sales have now topped the 8000 mark, with the incredibly popular online service which we've taken over 500 orders on.
Town's accounts manager Steve Wraith said: "I feel that this time round fans are not panicking like Wembley because concessions are available in the whole stadium. We still have 15000+ tickets remaining and all seats at the Millennium Stadium are excellent viewing."
He continued: "The disgusting weather over the last 2 days has no doubt prevented a lot of supporters from visiting the ticket office because of the potential queues."
The ticket office is open as normal 9am - 5pm this week, with credit card bookings still being taken.
The club are now selling the 'behind the goal' seats, with the £20/ £30 tickets already getting towards the 'opposite corner'.
We've now had a delivery of official GTFC play-off merchandise - 3000 scarves, 3000 black & white T-Shirts, 100 Wigs, 400 special 'Millennium Stadium' Town Home Shirts (which will fly out!) and Obviously Harry Haddock & Car Flags are selling well ahead of the big day.
