Summer Holidays Are Off!

TOWN have decided not to take part in a pre-season friendly tournament in Devon. Grimsby were provisionally entered in the Errea South West Challenge Cup.

However manager Alan Buckley has instead pencilled in friendlies closer to home against Barnsley, Scunthorpe United and Gainsborough Trinity.

  • In other news GTFC Ladies have qualified for promotion from the Lincolnshire County Womens' League after beating their main rivals Winterton Rangers at Blundell Park which insured they won the league. Midfielder Charlotte Goodwin scored the crucial goal. The Ladies could now be allowed into the East Midlands regional division, provided they meet the entry requirements.
