Kalala Loan Extended

CONGOLESE midfielder Jean-Paul Kalala has agreed to extend his loan at Blundell Park until the end of the season. JP has been on loan at Blundell Park from Oldham since November and has scored two goals during the nine games he has participated in.
Kalala's extended loan and the permanent signing of striker Adam Proudlock has allowed Grimsby to get two new players (Charlton's Dean Sinclair and Doncaster's Stuart Elliot) on loan yesterday and stay within their quota.
Town boss Mike Newell is still trying to sign Barnsley defender Rob Atkinson until at least the end of the season, and former loanee Liam Trotter may be on his way from Ipswich as well.
