HEAVY rain in London has left Barnet's rearranged fixture with Grimsby on Tuesday night once again in doubt. The fixture at the Bees' Underhill ground was postponed very late on Jan 3 due to a frozen pitch, but this time will be subject to a lunchtime inspection.
The two clubs are due to cross swords to avoid the ignominy of being castigated the worst football team in England.
The Mariners' team coach will not depart for North London until the club have got the nod from the match officials.
Barnet's home fixture with Rotherham was postponed on Saturday due to the recent snow but is now facing a deluge from another kind of precipitation.
Grimsby took advantage to leap ahead of Barnet in the League Two table after drawing at home to Exeter at the weekend.
