Fishy Verdict:Given the No. 9 shirt at the start of last season and then hardly got a chance to wear it until Christmas! However Northy had a purple patch in the middle third of the season and managed to finish top scorer. A good finisher, but really needs to play alongside a target-man type striker than play on his own up front. A scandalously unfit North turned up for pre-season and took ages to even come into first team contention as a result.

Since then North hardly got a sniff of first team action until the start of the 2009-2010 season, when he got a chance after having a good pre-season.
