TWO second half goals saw Doncaster Rovers win Town's last home game of the pre-season. Town started brightly but Rovers had the best of the first half, but could not get past Town's second choice 'keeper Leigh Overton, standing in for the injured Nick Colgan.

Rovers finally broke the deadlock in the 73red minute when Heffernan broke through Town's defence and slotted home the opener,

Rovers conceded a penalty when Jarman was brought down, but Conlon's penalty was saved,

Town had their chances to claw a goal back but Rovers grabbed a second with ten to go.
