LAST week saw a small loss recorded, although had Port Vale done a bit better at Notts County it might have been a different story.

Barnet v Grimsby. Grimsby have not been firing on all cylinders recently, but will eventually click once everybody is fit and Newell happens upon the best team and formation. Barnet have had a good start, but the Mariners have a good record at Underhill and normally get a good vocal backing from a crowd augmented by London exiles. Town can be backed at 7/2. Selection: Grimsby
Chesterfield v Accrington Stanley. Stanley have had some cracking results this season and have had a boost off the field this week with their financial situation. Chesterfield score a lot and concede a lot which means the opposition always has a chance. Stanley are worth a punt at 7/2. Selection: Accrington Stanley
Morecambe v Shrewsbury. Last year Shrewsbury just couldn't win at home. This year it's not a problem. The Shrews have put in some great performances on the road. Morecambe have improved a lot in recent weeks after a poor start, but the away side are on a roll at the moment and are good value at 6/4. Selection: Shrewsbury
Lincoln v Aldershot. Apply the same comments as above really. Aldershot were hopeless on the road last season, but this year have improved massively on their travels. They beat Town fairly easily at Blundell Park and should do the same at Lincoln. Take your chances at 13/8 on an away win. Selection: Aldershot
