Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Beat the Bookies: Week 28

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 06/03/2010

Today's League Two fixture programme doesn't have many tempting bets. However one team always worth backing are Darlington at home. This week they are playing Torquay and you can back them at 11/5.

Our second game this week is Reading v Aston Villa in the FA Cup. Reading have put in some cracking performances of late and this match really is their cup final. Villa have had a lot of games recently and their main focus has got to be Champions League qualification. They have also had a lot of players playing international games in midweek. You can back Reading at 7/2.

This week's bets

1. Darlo beat Torquay (11/5) 2. Reading beat Villa (7/2)

The monkey's bet.

Town to win 3-1 16/1
