Lester: Returns? |
Grimsby v Chesterfield Team News

TOWN entertain promotion-chasing Chesterfield at Blundell Park on Tuesday knowing that they must win to keep their slim chances of avoiding the drop out of league football alive. But after two away wins in succession the Mariners must be confident of another three points in front of their own supporters.
Neil Woods is likely to stick with a winning side and his only major injury doubt is striker Lee Peacock (Achilles), who did not play in the Hereford game.
The only minor doubts are Akpro and Widdowson, but they are expected to recover from knocks sustained at Hereford in time for the big game.
For Chesterfield, former Grimsby striker Barry Conlon is unavailable to play as a condition of his move to Saltergate from Blundell Park midway through the current season. Fellow striker Drew Talbot is also ruled out with a head injury.
But as one former Town player misses out, another will take his place. Jack Lester returned from a knee injury against Dagenham on Saturday, and will probably start against his first club.
Spireites defender Dan Gray is expected to return to the squad after missing the last two matches though injury.
