Burton Tickets on Sale

TOWN have been allocated just 1400 tickets for the final game of the season at Burton. The match could well be Grimsby's final league game for the forseeable future, or it could see them going into the game having a chance of them making the Great Escape. In either case demand could well exceed supply.

Tickets are initially being offered to season ticket holders, with any remaining tickets going on sale on Tuesday 4th May.

Barnet play at Accrington on Tuesday night and if they win that match then Grimsby will be relegated. If the Londoners fail to win, then the two teams meet at Blundell Park on Saturday, with Grimsby needing to win the match to keep their chances alive. Should Town get through those two hurdles, they will probably need to beat Burton in their final league game, and hope that Barnet don't beat second placed Rochdale at Underhill.

If it goes down to the final game then some Grimsby supporters may choose to cheer on Rochdale in North London if they can't get a ticket for Burton.
