NATHAN Jarman has left Blundell Park after a disappointing career with the Mariners. The Scunthorpe-born attacker showed lots of promise after getting over his initial fitness problems on signing for Town, but then got injured during pre-season last year and appeared to lose his interest after returning to the side where he was never able to keep his place.
Young 'keeper Leigh Overton has already been released.
Another Town player who may be leaving is 'keeper Nick Colgan. Colgan has exercised a clause in his contract which allowed him to get a free transfer should Town get relegated. If there are no offers then the Irishman has a year left on his contract at Blundell Park.
Neil Woods has had talks with several prospective new players this week, including former Bury defender Paul Scott.
