Hegarty Departs

WINGER Nick Hegarty has left Blundell Park "by mutual consent". The club's longest serving player at 24, Hegarty had been placed on the transfer list during the summer, but has waited until now to exercise the option.
Hegarty has drifted in and out of the side over the years, and was a regular during much of Alan Buckley's third reign, but has never really made a place in the first team his own.
The left-sided player made 108 appearances and scored just seven goals.
