Grimsby v Forest Green Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 22/02/2011

GRIMSBY are set to make several changes for the must-win league match at home to Forest Green this evening. Midfielder Micky Cummins begins a four-match ban after his second sending off in two games, and Neil Woods is likely to shuffle his pack with several players returning from injury.

Rob Eagle (ill) and Dean Sinclair (thigh) are both available again and will probably start after missing the demoralising 3-0 defeat at Fleetwood on Saturday. Other players who Woods could turn to are Bradley Wood, Steven Watt and Michael Leary.

The Tuesday night match probably comes too soon for Bryan Hughes (Achilles), Dwayne Samuels (knee) and Charles Ademeno (knee), although all are getting close to featuring again for Town.

Forest Green will be without defender Jared Hodgkiss (knee) and Scott Bartlett (suspended).

Town came back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 when they played at the Gloucestershire club back in October. This time though three points is essential if they are to have any hope of getting into the promotion picture.
