FORMER Port Vale boss Martin Foyle has been installed as the bookies's favourites to become the next Grimsby manager. Second favourite is former Grimsby loanee Paul Trollope, last in charge of Bristol Rovers. Other ex-Mariners in the reckoning are Dave Moore (6/1), John McDermott (12/1) amd Paul Wilkinson (12/1).

A host of former managers are also in the list including Brian Laws, Alan Buckley and Paul Groves.
