Lincoln v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY have few injuries for the short trip to Sincil Bank on Boxing Day. Town are also boosted by the return of Rob Duffy who was suspended in the 3-2 win over Ebbsfleet, Town's last game.

The only absentees are Jamie Green and Damian Spencer (both knee), but neither player has been a regular in the first team during the recent unbeaten run.

Will Antwi's final game for the Mariners is scheduled to be the match at Lincoln, but the Mariners are hoping to either sign the centre back or extend his loan from Luton.

The Mariners have sold their entire allocation of nearly 1800 tickets at Sincil Bank, and the crowd is likely to be over 5,000. The match at Blundell Park on New Year's Day is also likely to be well attended, although City fans have never travelled in huge numbers to previous derby matches in Cleethorpes.

Lincoln have improved recently after a poor start to their first season in the BSP. Grimsby beat the Imps in the pre-season game, but City will be a tougher nut to crack now than they were in the summer.
