Grimsby v Hyde Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 22/01/2013

GRIMSBY'S game with Hyde has escaped the recent cold weather and will go ahead as planned. Town will be without Marcus Marshall as he has been recalled by Bury with a view to being sold to Luton.

The only other absentee is left back Aswad Thomas, who will serve the final match of his three game ban.

Town only have two out and out wingers left in the squad, Colbeck and Devitt, so they will likely start against the Manchester side, and Bradley Wood will continue at left back in Thomas's place.

Hyde cannot be underestimated, not least because they were the last side to beat Town! The Mariners lost 3-2 at Hyde in November, when they conceded two early goals. Former Mariner Phil Jevons did not play for Hyde that night, but he is expected to start at Blundell Park.

Hyde have lost their last two games, both at home, but have won their last two games on the road. They have also beaten Newport away not long ago.
