Aldershot v Grimsby Team News

PAUL Hurst will once again change as little at possible for the long trip to Aldershot following two impressive wins at Blundell Park against Dartford and Tamworth. The Mariners have dramatically improved the "goals for" column in the last two games, a sign that the promising set of strikers at the club is finally showing its worth.
Joe Colbeck is still suspended, but he might not have started anyway due to the form of his teammates. Midfielder Ritchie Jones and centre back Chris Doig have both recovered from knocks so should be fit to resume their places in the starting line-up. It means full backs Sam Hatton and Aswad Thomas may have to settle for another game on the bench at best, along with Andy Cook who this week had a request to go out on loan turned down.
Aldershot started the season unexpectedly well after their difficult summer and were lucky not to win at Blundell Park in the opening game of the season. In the last few games Aldershot's form has dipped slightly, but the Mariners' squad won't make the mistake of underestimating Rob Scott's side again.
