Town Draw Terriers at Home

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 08/12/2013

GRIMSBY have been drawn against Championship side Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup Third Round. The Mariners have already knocked out two sides from League Two, and many fans were hoping for a big payday at one of the top Premier League sides.

However it is a home time against a side from Yorkshire who have a sizable following so there is bound to be a good atmosphere. The Mariners have a fair chance of at least forcing a replay. Last time Huddersfield came to Blundell Park (in 2007-2008) Town beat them 4-1 and eventually went on to get to the JPT Final at Wembley.

Whoever wins the tie will receive £63,000 in prize money from the FA, plus a share of gate receipts and TV money if it.
