Deja Vu

GRIMSBY'S third away win on the spin followed a very familiar script: good start. great goal from a midfielder, gradual retreat into defence, few scares but hang on to win 1-0. This time Kidderminster were the victims, and the three points consolidates Town's third place spot.

Scott Kerr returned after suspension to replace Andi Thanoj in central midfield.

After a strong start by Town Alex Rodman scored a fantastic goal after 19 minutes, volleying it in from over 20 yards over the 'keeper.

McKeown kept Town in the game with a top class save to deny Bell's header on 33 minutes, and Grimsby went in at half time with a deserved lead.

As the match progressed Kidderminster got more and more of the ball, but Town restricted the home side to very few chances. With 10 minutes to go Disley had to clear a Cieslewicz shot off the line.

Town had a couple of chances to double their lead in the 4 minutes of injury time, but John-Lewis and Rodman both failed to beat Lewis.

Grimsby: McKeown, Hatton, Pearson, Boyce, Thomas, Rodman, Disley, Kerr, McLaughlin, John-Lewis, Hannah
