Telford v Grimsby Team News

PAUL Hurst has signed midfielder Nicky Walker on loan from his former club Rotherham. The 20-year-old has played twice for the Millers and is a replacement for Harry Pell, who was recalled by Wimbledon this week. Walker goes straight into consideration for Saturday's game with Telford.

Town played four in midfield on Tuesday, and created more chances than they have in previous games. However Hurst has favoured the 4-5-1 formation for most of the season and may return to it when Town visit the division's bottom side on Saturday.

Town have several doubts due to illness, including Town left back Aswad Thomas who missed the chance to play against his former club Woking on Tuesday night after catching a sickness bug.

Telford have picked up in the last few weeks and have had a couple of wins, although they are still bottom, ten points from safety. Town have beaten Telford on three of the four occasions the teams have met. The Shropshire side were promoted from the Conference North last season but have struggled for most of the campaign at the national Conference level.
