MANSFIELD Town striker Ollie Palmer has joined Grimsby on a one-month loan. The 22-year-old started his career at Woking, close to where he grew up. Since then he has played for Havant & Waterlooville before joining the Stags in 2013.

Palmer has scored two goals in 21 appearances, mainly as a substitute, for the League Two club this season. But he scored 25 goals in the Conference South for Havant & Waterlooville in the 2012-2013 season.

Palmer is available to make his debut in Saturday's FA Trophy game against Gateshead.
