Grimsby v Gateshead Team News

PAUL Hurst is expected to play a strong side for the visit for Gateshead in the FA Trophy tomorrow, but the team won't include winger Scott Neilson who is struggling to recover from an ankle injury he picked up against Lincoln last year.
However Town full back Carl Magnay is expected to return against his former club after getting over a foot injury. New Mansfield loan signing, striker Ollie Palmer, could make his debut for the Mariners, who this week have been boosted by utility man Danny Parslow extending his loan spell with Town until the end of the season from York City.
For the visitors former Town midfielder Alex Rodman, now at Gateshead, is ruled out through injury.
Although the FA Trophy is not popular with some supporters, whoever wins the tie will have a good chance to progress to the latter stages of the tournament with so many of the big clubs already knocked out.
Town thrashed Gateshead 6-1 earlier this season but it's not a result you'd expect to see again at Grimsby have struggled to recapture their early season form in recent weeks.
