LEAGUE Two side Hartlepool United have signed Grimsby Player of the Year Carl Magnay. Magnay had been offered a contract by Town but it appears the lure of the Football League was too strong for him to resist a return to his native North East.
It means Toto Nsiala is the only player who has been offered a contract by Town yet to decide on his future. Meanwhile Town's Budget Boost campaign has raised over £17,000 in the first few hours since its launch. The money raised by supporters donation will be used to fund one or more new players.
Paul Hurst will be busy lining up around ten new signings for the Mariners, with new forwards being top of his list.
This site is by the fans, for the fans, and we will consider articles on any subject relating to the Mariners whether it be related to current news, a nostalgic look back in the past, a story about a player, a game or games in the past, something about Blundell Park or football in general.
