Grimsby v Barrow Team News

Date: 11/08/2015
ANDY Cook will return to Grimsby Town for the first time since being released by the Mariners in 2014. Cook returned to his former club Barrow last season and was promoted with the Bluebirds in April, scoring over 20 goals in the process. Cook started this season where he left off with two goals against Dover in the opening game.
Cook will want to show Grimsby that Town made a mistake in letting him go, and the Mariners will be keen to improve their defence after letting in two soft goals at Kidderminster which cost them two points.
The Mariners will have to cope again without the services of Scott Brown (foot), Gregor Robertson (knee), Marcus Marshall (knee) and Jon-Paul Pittman (stomach).
Barrow with be without midfielder Paddy Lacey who will serve the last game of a suspension carried over from last season.
