Grimsby v Shrewsbury Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 06/12/2015

PAUL Hurst had a fully fit squad to pick from for the visit of Shrewsbury and has hinted he won't be making any chances from the side that beat Kidderminster in the last game.

Hurst's side won five out of five games in November which meant the Town boss picked up the Manager of the Month award for the National League.

The League One side will be with suspended midfielder Ian Black as he was sent off in last week's game with Walsall. Loan Midfielders Sullay Kaikai (Crawley) and Larnell Cole (Fulham) have been given permission to play in the game by their parent clubs. One well known face to Grimsby fans will be former striker Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro who now plays for the Midlands side, although the 3o-year-old has not been a regular starter this season.

Grimsby beat every League side they faced in pre-season so will be confident they can advance into the Third Round, the draw for which takes place immediately before the televised match. Exiled supporters can watch the game on BT Sport 2.
