Cleethorpes Town in FA Vase Final

CLEETHORPES Town have booked their place at Wembley for Non-League Day 2017, a year on from Town's last act as a non-league side. The Owls have qualified for the FA Vase Final after beating Bromsgrove Sporting 2-1 on aggregate this weekend.

The Owls will play South Shields in the final, which takes place prior to York v Macclesfield in the FA Trophy on Sunday 21 May 2017. With Grimsby's season over by then it will be a chance for Town fans to cheer on another side from the area during the close season.

Nearly 50,000 people turned out at Wembley last May, when Town lost to Halifax and Morpeth beat Hereford. Tickets for are priced at £25 for adults, £10 for concessions, and just £1 for children. There is also a Non-League Finals Day group rate of £12.50 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for children. Tickets are available from ticketing.thefa.com or by calling 0844 826 2010.
