Wycombe v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 02/04/2018

GRIMSBY head to Wycombe looking for any sort of points return which would be more than welcome in their bid to stave off relegation worries. The Mariners have now gone 19 games without a win, but at least managed a rare clean sheet in the goalless draw with Stevenage on Good Friday.

Wycombe on paper is a seemingly impossible task, with the third placed Chairboys against the third bottom Mariners. However Wycombe have failed to score in their last two games and drew at home with Port Vale in their last match at Adams Park, so Town will be hoping that they might come away with something.

Mallik Wilks (hamstring) is rated extremely doubtful, as is Ben Davies (calf). Midfielders Luke Summerfield and Mitch Rose returned from injury against Stevenage, so will need their fitness assessed with the close proximity of the matches over the Easter period.

On-loan Arsenal defender Tafari Moore (hamstring) is the home side's main concern.
