CENTRAL defender Luke Waterfall has joined Grimsby after being released by League One side Shrewsbury Town. The 29-year-old former Lincoln centre back has signed a two-year deal at Blundell Park after being released one year into a three year deal at the New Meadow.
Sheffield-born Waterfall made 55 appearances in the Lincoln side which won the National League in 2016-2017 and has been a regular at Shrewsbury until this season.
Town are unbeaten after two league games and one cup game. The Football League transfer window remains open until Monday, 2 September, so Michael Jolley has the potential to make further additions to his squad.
