Chelsea Awaits Winner

GRIMSBY Town will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in Round 3 of the Carabao Cup provided they beat Macclesfield in the rearranged game. The pair started the game on Tuesday night but it was abandoned at half time when the score was 0-0 due to torrential rain.
The match has been rearranged for Tue 10th September when both sides the added incentive of a plumb tie. Town last went to Stamford Bridge in 1996 when a Ruud Gullit-inspired Chelsea romped home to a 4-1 lead.
