Season Taking Shape? |
National Proposal

THE National League have responded to League Two's proposals to end the season on PPG. The division below Town's have proposed promoting Barrow and one other club from the play-offs.
They have though proposed having no play-offs in the National Leagues North and South as they are not deemed to be "elite" and therefore fall short of the government's guidelines. Only Wealdstone and Kings Lynn would be promoted from the National League South and North respectively.
After all that has been processed, it leaves just one team to be relegated which would be bottom club Chorley.
The National League clubs are due to vote on this proposal next week. If they vote against it them Stevenage or Macclesfield could get a reprieve as the alternative is to void the whole National League. All other non-league divisions have been voided, and even clubs which were mathematically certain of promotion or relegation have had their season chalked off.
