Tranmere Game Called Off

TOWN'S game at Blundell Park has been called off due to a frozen pitch. It means the Mariners won't have a game now until 20th February, away at Exeter, which will be two weeks since their last match, the 1-0 loss at Newport.
The Mariners have been boosted though by signing 34-year-old midfielder Giles Coke from Hereford. Coke, who has played in the SPL and Championship, has been trying to sign for Grimsby for some time but has had his registration delayed by red tape.
The Londoner has been training with the Mariners for several weeks, more recently alongside former teammate Lenell John-Lewis, who has just himself joined Grimsby from Hereford.
Coke is the tenth player signed by Paul Hurst since returning to the club for a second time.
