Tony's Verdict: The clubs record signing (£500,000) from Preston, though he spent 4 years at West Brom. Crowd opinion is divided between "He's a complete waste of money" and "He hasn't justified his fee yet". Nicknames vary - "Fatty", Dame Podgy" and "My Little Showpony" are perhaps the cruellest. Undoubtedly possesses skill, put doesn't apply himself very often. You may get a good 20 minutes out of him. Doesn't like being kicked and falls over very theatrically. Takes a good penalty, which is important. He likes to score goals which look great on television, and to indulge in "orgies of Reesian flicks". A very infuriating player. | ||||||||||||||||||||
