Coyne Targeted?

Bolton Wanderers have been linked with a move for Grimsby goalkeeper Danny Coyne after their attempts to sign Bradford City's Matt Clarke on-loan hit the rocks on Thursday, reported Planet Football today.
Earlier in the week there were unconfirmed reports that Bolton would be sending someone to watch Coyne against Barnsley.
It is now understood that scouts from Bolton have been monitoring Coyne and that Sam Allardyce will again be sending someone to take another look at him. It is not unexpected that other clubs would be watching Coyne as he has developed into one of the most successful goalkeepers in the first division.
Bolton Wanderers refused to comment but Allardyce is currently in the market for a goalkeeper and Coyne would be seen as a very good acquisition.
