LATEST reports say that Mansfield Town's manager Stuart Watkiss wants Bradley Allen to spearhead his side's assault on the Second Division. Allen is to have talks with the Stags when he returns from a family holiday next week.
Out of contract at Blundell Park at the end of the month he is looking to secure a two-year contract and turned down an offer from Bristol Rovers last month in the hope that Paul Groves could offer him a deal.
But Groves has made no move yet and it may be doubtful with the club's finances as they are that an offer can be made.
